Animal Welfare

One of my biggest passions, loves and causes is supporting the beautiful stray dogs of Goa, India alongside the local charities, rescuers and NGOs who dedicate their lives to monitoring, saving and caring for the animals in this beautiful state of India.

This is a cause near and dear to my heart as I have 3 gorgeous street girls of my own.

I worked with and supported local NGOs & charities in North Goa and helped run the off-season beachfeeding program with Welfare for Animals in Goa (WAG) in the Morjim & Ashvem areas for 3 years.

To learn more about WAG, the program and how you can help, please watch the video in the link below :)

South Goa is a 2nd home to me and I wish to also support the charities in my local community with their off-season beach-feeding and animal rescue initiatives.

The seasons down south have really taken a hit with lower tourism due to the pandemic. Less tourists and means businesses are shut or close early and there's less food from the local & beach restaurants for the beach dogs, with less bodies around the community to step in, help, feed and monitor the community stray dogs. This is where the local charities step in to serve the Canacona area. None of them are funded by the government. They all operate on a donation basis.

If you would like to support these amazing initiatives, please check out the links below to purchase food for the feedings or to support their vaccination and rescue programs. They both have amazon wishlists, which you can find the links to from their Facebook Pages.
